Who says you can only wear your wedding dress once?! This adventurous couple had the most brilliant idea to do a post wedding day (semi-trash the dress) session at The Cibolo Nature Center located in Boerne, TX and it was basically the best day of my life! Lauren and Jonathan made the 5.5 hour drive down from Dallas yesterday for this shoot, and we had the best time!
TO ALL OF MY WEDDING COUPLES: LET'S MAKE THIS A THING, DANGIT!
Not only is there absolutely zero stress, nerves or anxiety like there is on the actual wedding day, but you can also get the dress as dirty as you'd like and not have to worry about it! Imagine the possibilities here... my mind is just overflowing with all of the ideas!
There really is so much I could say, but I'll just let the pictures do the talking! Keep on scrolling to see all of the extraordinary captures from last night.
Like seriously, how incredible is this? If you aren't sold on an after wedding session yet, take a just look at this!
We also did a few quick family photos. It was so wonderful of Lauren's sweet parents to join in on this session, and it was such a joy to capture such beautiful memories for them.
SO MAGICAL!
We also ventured out on the trails for some silly photos! Because again, NO WEDDING DAY STRESS, ALL FUN! Jonathan is an Optometrist, so of course we had to do a few photos with his gorgeous bride Lauren wearing his awesome shades!
Aren't Lauren's parents the best? This photo bomb is the sweetes thing ever!
Also, Lauren's hair is #goals.
More photos in the Cibolo Creek, it was EPIC!
That (not so) just married feeling!
Couple's that joyfully skip together, stay together. Obviously.
And a few more photos with the glasses, because they rule!
So who's with me? Post wedding session for the win? I THINK YES!!!
